Broadway actress coming to FSC to perform in hit stage play Desperate Housewives of the Bible.

FSC proudly presents national playwright Ursula V. Battle and her latest Gospel, hit
stage play production, Desperate Housewives of the Bible: The Old, The Bold, and
The Beautiful, live on December 6 & 7 for two unforgettable performances.
Saturday, December 6: Doors open at 1:00 PM; show begins at 2:00 PM.
Sunday, December 7: A special dinner-and-show experience. Doors open at 1:00 PM,
followed by a delicious meal and the performance. The show begins at 4:00 PM.
Headlining the stage will be acclaimed actress and singer D’Atra Hicks, celebrated for
her performances in Tyler Perry’s plays, including Madea’s Family Reunion and What’s
Done in the Dark. Hicks also starred in the Broadway sensation Mama, I Want To Sing
and is remembered for her powerful appearances on Divorce Court.
Desperate Housewives of the Bible: The Old, The Bold, and The Beautiful is a
modern-day Biblical depiction featuring some of the most well-known women of The
Old Testament! The production is coming off sell-out shows and rave reviews in
Baltimore! Letricia Loftin, Founder & Executive Director of Little Miss Black│Miss Black
Teen USofA Pageant, portrays the show’s over-the-top, extra.com, fashionista Wendy
Wiggins. These desperate housewives have all come on the show to tell Wendy their
side of the story during a Black-Tie Reunion that brings these ladies back together for
the first time since their sinful departures!
The musical production which features an amazing plethora of singing and acting talent,
also includes Dravon James (The Wire) as “Lady Jezebel”; Karen Simmons Bethea
(Stella Potiphar); Jennell Ferguson (Sarah Abraham); Kay Jefferson (Rachel Jacob);
FSC's very own Tanya Brown-Iyesi (Hagar Hawkins); Lenny Stepney, Jr. (Jacob); and
national recording artist Randy “Fruity” Roberts (Watch Me Work) who will portray
“Bishop Ahab.” FSC’s music department will perform as the show’s musical
group PRAISE!
The dinner-and-show experience will be a buffet-style meal catered by (3 Jays Catering consisting of salmon,
fried chicken, Mac & Cheese, green beans, beverages, and assorted desserts. The event is inclusive of a cash bar, vendors, and door prizes. Dinner will be served from 2pm to 3:30 pm on Sunday.

Our senior leader is also a worshipping pastor, having served for many years as the minister of music in several churches. He is passionate about God's presence particularly through the hymns of the church, which he often strikes up a tune to add to the diverse and culturally rich worship song list. We encourage you to worship God in your own way, whether through song, dance, or even simply meditating on His goodness. It's all good!
